The old Green Street Presbyterian Church building is being sold.
This beautiful historic church is being sold and eventually GAP will have to find a new home. Contact us if you know of a potential site near the 1200 block of Greene St in Downtown Augusta.
We are committed to staying near the clients and friends that we have made over the last 32 years. During all of that time we have shared a space with other ministries and missions Downtown. The need for the services we provide continues to grow. We now need more space to serve more people, and the autonomy of our own building.
We will be starting a new capital campaign soon with the goal of funding
A Home of Our Own.

GAP Walk 2011 at Lake Olmstead Park November 5th was big fun!
86 people joined our GAP Guides for a morning of fun and exercise with a purpose. Groups searched through a maze of social services on a scavenger hunt to find basic needs. In addition to learning about the mission of GAP and the lives of people in need each person who completed the course got prizes including GAP buttons.
Over $3000.00 dollars were raised for GAP Ministries. Corporate Sponsors for this event are shown here. Please visit these web sites for more info on these local businesses who make a difference in our community.

Our theme was, "Many hands, Many colors, One Nation- USA!" Over 350 children had their photos taken and over a thousand traced hand prints of all colors and decorated flags. We are especially thankful to the volunteers who helped to make this event fun and memorable for us all.
