GAP’S PARTNERS & SUPPORTERS

MISSION PARTNERS:
We are proud to share our building, the Greene Street Mission Center (GSMC), with other groups whose mission complements ours. As custodians of the historic building, we continue to work to create a “one-stop” center to assist those in need. If you are interested in office or meeting space for your group, please call or e-mail us to find out more.

Narcotics Anonymous:
Three NA groups meet at GAP.
First Step Vision of Hope Group meets Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at noon.
Close Encounters Group meets Sundays from 2:00-3:30 pm.
The Bottom Group meets Fridays from 7:30-9:00 pm.

Freddie Mae Foundation:
This group works with homeless men and their children. On the first and third Saturdays from 2:00-4:00 pm, they set up at GAP on the Ellis Street side. They provide needed items and counseling.

Harvest Field Church:
This church provides Bible study on Monday and breakfast and Bible study on Wednesday mornings from 9:00-10:30

Core Life Discipleship Training:

This ministry has an office and counseling space designed to help men overcome obstacles that keep them from leading a productive and independent life. It provides worship, Bible study and breakfast each Friday morning from 8:15-10:00 through its Operation 3:16.

Project Refresh:
This outreach, headquartered at the GSMC, travels throughout the CSRA providing mobile showers for the homeless. They offer showers every third Thursday morning in the parking lot at GAP.

Going Back to Give Back:
GB2
is GAP’s newest partner with offices in the GSMC. They describe themselves as a group that “wants to see individuals restored in their communities with a conviction of seeing themselves as a part of those communities. We want to see communities restored and revitalized. We want an income structure that will create jobs for individuals in the community with the intent of reversing blight.”
